Euch ist es Sicherlich bereits aufgefallen das an den letzten Donnerstagen immer eine Wartung von ca 2 Stunden erfolge. Wo man die Server Neustarten wolle. Dies hängt Aktuell immer noch mit den Aktuellen Problemen des neuen Datacenter zusammen. Man versucht hier immer noch entsprechend Leistung raus zu holen um die Preformence unter anderem zu verbessern. Daher erfolgt immer Donnerstags nun eine kleine Wartung. Diese Donnerstag Wartung soll jedoch nicht von Dauer sein, und nur vorübergehend.
The Thursday restarts are only temporary. For example, yesterday we announced that there were New ISP Routes in Place. Our Ops team continues to work on server configuration changes, and our game engineers are looking at all options from the game coding side. Everyone here is committed to improving game performance, but in the meantime we have found that restarting the servers can help mitigate some of the issues that can pop up.
Auch soll es wohl Morgen entsprechend eine Wartung geben. Die heutige Wartung am Mittwoch erfolgte aus dem grund da es zu Problemen gekommen ist, das man unter anderem keine neuen Spieleraccounts mehr Registrieren konnte.
In the process of moving remaining WB wide equipment out of the old data warehouse, work which concludes this week, we ran into an issue that created login issues for all of our products. That issue needed to be remedied ASAP, thus the downtime this morning. We are doing our weekly maintenance as well at this time to prevent the need for another downtime tomorrow.
We plan to keep down times consistent, but part of a live service is that occasionally things happen outside of our expectations and we have to adjust in the moment.
